|Description:||The excavation of Sambaquí was done in 1959-1960 with the help of CAPES and the Department of Anthropology and Philosophy of Paraná’s University. This area was being destroyed by the construction of the road of a train that passes right through this place. Lots of artifacts and human remains were found by the employees and that attracted the author’s attention.
